(In case you're wondering, the Blue Tang is a brightly colored tropical fish, commonly seen along our reef). Stretch out on your deck or stroll on the beach. Sunrise at the Blue Tang Inn is something special. We'll serve you fresh-brewed coffee and Island tasty fruits. No charge, by the way, it's on us.

Located on a sandy Caribbean beach, the fourteen-unit Blue Tang Inn is just two quiet blocks north of downtown San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, where you’ll discover Belize’s warm, friendly people and many great shops and restaurants. The beautiful accommodations, fun daily activities, unique dining and friendly local culture are all part of what makes your stay at the Blue Tang Inn a truly unique experience.

The Accommodation

All newly renovated suites are air conditioned, have fully equipped kitchens and are decorated in soft tropical colors. Enjoy the sunlight and breeze provided by the new, large windows in each suite. Our third floor suites have newly refinished hard wood floors, vaulted ceilings and Jacuzzi bathtubs.

Ocean Front Suites
Our Ocean Front suites are our most popular suites. They are located in the front of the Blue Tang Inn, facing the beach and ocean. All include king bed and sofa or futon, a fully equipped kitchen, small living area, 2 ceiling fans, air conditioner, private bathrooms and TV upon request.

Ocean View Suites
Our Ocean View suites are best for singles and families with kids. These are our most spacious suites with ocean views. All include 2 double beds and sofa or futon, a fully equipped kitchen, small living area, 2 ceiling fans, air conditioner, private bathrooms and TV upon request.
Standard Suites on the 1st and 2nd floor are #2,6,7
Deluxe Suites on the 3rd floor are #11, 12

Garden View Suites
Our Garden View suites are our most economical suites. #3 includes 2 double beds and #8 and 14 include king bed. All include sofa or futon, a fully equipped kitchen, small living area, 2 ceiling fans, air conditioner, private bathrooms and TV upon request.

Activities

We have plenty of activities and tours available during your stay. You can snorkel or dive on the largest barrier reef in the Western Hemisphere. You can go fishing in the flats, the reef or the deep sea, go golfing on Chapel Caye, or enjoy a trip to one of the mainland Maya ruins. Or take a siesta in a hammock under the coconut trees. And if all this is not enough, why not go on one of the sailing, wave running, parasailing, hobie kat, water skiing, hydro biking or windsurfing.
