The Accommodation

Beach View Standard Rooms
Our first floor beachview standard rooms are 16 ft. x 24 ft. with king or twin beds. The rooms also have a futon couch for an additional person. The first floor rooms have a front entrance and overlook the pool and beach or beach trees and the beach. Private bath, air conditioning, ceiling fans and private terrace. Equipped with jalousie windows, screens, hairdryer, safe, phone, cable TV, small refrigerator. Decorated with handcrafted furniture in native woods, woven fabrics and rugs, Mexican terra cotta tiled floors, original artwork and antiques.
Our second floor beachview standard rooms are 16 ft. x 24 ft. with king beds only. Second floor rooms have a similar layout to the first floor rooms, though the second floor rooms have cathedral ceilings and front and back doors, rear entrance and rear balcony. The rooms also have a futon couch for an additional person. Second floor rooms, which overlook the pool and beach or beach trees and the beach - have better beach views than first floor rooms. Private bath, air conditioning, ceiling fans and private terrace. Equipped with jalousie windows, screens, hairdryer, safe, phone, cable TV small refrigerator. Decorated with handcrafted furniture in native woods, woven fabrics and rugs, Mexican terra cotta tiled floors, original artwork and antiques.

Ocean Front Junior Suites
Our oceanfront junior suites are 24 ft. x 24 ft. with king beds only. Junior suites also have a futon couch in the main bedroom for an additional person and a tiny room with bunk beds off the main bedroom (suitable for 2 children). The junior suites have large private terraces and direct views of the beach and sea. Private bath, air conditioning, ceiling fans and private terrace. Equipped with jalousie windows, screens, hairdryer, safe, phone, cable TV, small refrigerator. Decorated with handcrafted furniture in native woods, woven fabrics and rugs, Mexican terra cotta tiled floors, original artwork and antiques.

One and Two Bedroom Ocean View Deluze Suites
Our one-bedroom oceanview deluxe suites (first and second floor) have a king-bedded master bedroom and a separate living room that has a futon couch and a day bed (suitable for a child). A few one-bedroom suites are equipped with a kitchenette. Both the bedroom and living room have separate access to the bathroom, and both rooms have separate access to the huge, wrap-around deck that overlooks the beach and sea. Private bath, air conditioning, ceiling fans. Equipped with jalousie windows, screens, hair-dryer, safe, phone, cable TV, small refrigerator. Decorated with handcrafted furniture in native woods, woven fabrics and rugs, Mexican terra cotta tiled floors, original artwork and antiques. Second Floor Deluxe Suites have cathedral ceilings and more expansive views of the beach and sea.
The two-bedroom deluxe suites (first and second floor) have two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and living room (with a futon couch). A couple of two-bedroom suites have kitchenettes. The bedrooms and living room have separate access to the deck that overlooks the beach and sea. The master bath has separate access from the master bedroom and living room. The two bedroom suites have air conditioning, ceiling fans and are equipped with jalousie windows, screens, hair dryers, safe, phones, and cable TV. They are also decorated with handcrafted furniture in native woods, woven fabrics andrugs, Mexican terra cotta tiled floors, original artwork and antiques. The second bedroom in the first floor suite has a king bed. The second bedroom in the second floor suite has twin beds. The master bedrooms in both first and second floor suites have king beds. The Second Floor two-bedroom suite has cathedral ceilings and more expansive views of the beach and sea.

Grand Villa Suites
Our Grand Villa Gardenview Standard Rooms (first and second floor) are 500 square feet and feature spacious bedroom with king or twin accommodations and private terrace that overlook a tranquil beach garden. Each gardenview bedroom is fully air-conditioned, has ceiling fans, private bath with shower, cable TV, telephone, hairdryer, safe and small refrigerator. The rooms are decorated with tropical and hardwood furnishings, woven fabrics and rugs, Mexican terrace cotta tiled floors, original artwork and antiques.
The first & second floor oceanfront one bedroom Grand Villa suites are 1000 square feet and include a spacious living room and bedroom, both of which have breathtaking views of the Caribbean. The living room and bedroom open onto a 16-foot terrace overlooking the beach and ocean. The bedroom has a full bath with shower, double sinks, cable TV, telephone, hairdryer, safe and small refrigerator. The suite is fully air-conditioned, has ceiling fans and screens, and is decorated with tropical and hardwood furnishings, woven fabrics and rugs, Mexican terra cotta tiled floors, original artwork and antiques. The living room has a daybed sofa that can sleep an additional person. The second floor living room has a cathedral ceiling.
The oceanfront two-bedroom Grand Villa Suites are 1500 square feet. One bedroom faces the beach, while the second bedroom overlooks a tropical garden. The master bedroom has a king bed and the second bedroom has twin beds that can also be made up into a king. Each bedroom has a private terrace and separate access to the outside from the living room and from both bedrooms. Each bedroom has a full bath with shower and double sinks, cable TV, telephone, internet connection, hair dryer, safe and small refrigerator. The common living room and master bedroom opens onto a 16-foot terrace that overlooks the beach and ocean. The living room has a daybed sofa that can sleep an additional person. The two bedroom Grand Villa Suites are air-conditioned, have ceiling fans and are decorated with tropical and hardwood furnishings, woven fabrics and rugs, Mexican terra cotta tiled floors, original artwork and antiques.

Restaurants

The Inn at Robert's Grove offers two delicious and distinct dinning venues - its acclaimed fine dining Seaside Restaurant and the more casual Habanero Mexican Cafe & Bar.

The Sea Side Restaurant, located directly on the beach, overlooking the Caribbean Sea, The Seaside Restaurant at Robert's Grove is "Where you can taste some of Belize's best cuisine."

HABANERO Mexican Cafe & Bar overlooks the Placencia Lagoon at the Robert's Grove Marina. Open for dinner, sunset cocktails and late night drinks.

Activities

In House
Share the day's adventures with other guests in the Inn's Great Room, featuring a bar, library, satellite TV, VCR, CD and tape player, chess and backgammon boards.

Relax:
Find peace and fresh breezes on the white sandy beach. The gazebo at the end of the 180' pier is nothing short of heavenly. And when the day is over, relax in one of the inn's rooftop Jacuzzis.

Swimming Pool:
Day or night, take a dip in our 50' freshwater swimming pool overlooking the beach.

Other amenities:
The Inn at Robert's Grove also has a tennis court, canoes, sea kayaks, sailboats, windsurfing boards and bicycles for guests use.

Water skiing:
Water skiing is another attraction at Robert's Grove. Go you for a spin right off our Caribbean beach.

Snorkelling and Fishing:
The Inn at Robert's Grove has its own 30' skiff and resident guide. They whisk you away to Belize's Barrier Reef (the second largest in the world) and the many beautiful Cayes nearby, such as Laughingbird Caye National Park, for great snorkelling and fishing, stopping for a picnic lunch at Robert's Caye, their very own white sandy island where the only inhabitants -- a family of osprey -- greet you. It's easy to get hooked on fishing in the pristine waters around Placencia, where year-round it is possible to catch eight to ten different species in a day. There is bonefishing in the flats, trolling along the outer Cayes and fly fishing and spin casting anywhere along the coast. The Fishing Center will set you up with excellent licensed fishing guides equipped with boats and rods and tackle (it is suggested that fly fishermen and spin casters bring their own gear).

Diving:
Dive in, to the wonders of the magnificent Barrier Reef of Belize. The Dive Center at Robert's Grove stands ready to guide you through this remarkable underwater paradise with multitudes of Gorgonian fan corals, enormous sponges, hundreds of colourful fish, sheer coral-encrusted walls and the wondrous Palegics. Placencia is the springboard to some of the best diving in Belize if not the world. The reason is that as the edge of the Barrier Reef comes south along the coast of Belize, it separates itself further and further from the mainland. The result is a broad expanse of coral reef with channels going down from 90 to 110 feet, but rising abruptly into shoals and Cayes providing many nearby scuba locations. At last official count there are a minimum of 20 named dive sites in the southern waters of Belize, off Placencia. The new Dive Center at Robert's Grove has brand-new, state-of-the-art Oceanic equipment and a 30 ft. dive boat that will make your journey to the reef comfortable and easy. The normal daily schedule is a two-tank dive leaving at 9 am and returning late afternoon. A picnic lunch at a private island, Robert's Caye, gives you time to relax between dives.
