The Antisana is the fourth highest mountain in the Ecuadorian Andes. Massive glaciers feed water to lakes and rivers of the reserve, which sustain the abundant wildlife of the region.
Fifty percent of the Andean Condors that live in Ecuador have chosen Antisana as their home as well as many other rate and endangered species of highland birds. For centuries the beatiful landscapes around Antisana were only within the reach of scientists, geographers and intrepid exploratory expeditions. Nowadays an excellent private road takes you into this magnificent moorland (paramo), pristine, full of wildlife and unmatched scenery.
For those wishing to stay longer than one day, we also offer the Antisana Trek (4 days.3 nights)
The Itinerary
