Tinalandia Reserve spans nearly 250 acres, mostly primary rainforest, with some of the most accessible Pacific slope birding in the country. Birders can look forward to over 300 species, plus an abundant and diverse butterfly population that adds color and grace to the Tinalandia experience. Each of the 20 rooms has its own unique style with private bathrooms and colorful gardens that attract birds to your doorstep.

Experience a birds-eye-view of the western lowlands, general nature study and relax in the exuberant littoral zone. The surroundings of the hacienda house offer tropical moss forests, open pastures, thick jungle growth and beautiful flowered patios where dozens of species of birds abound.

The Itinerary

Day 1:
Morning pass numerous waterfalls and plunging streams to Tinalandia in time for immediate exploration along nature trails (LD).

Day 2:
More natural enjoyment with your personable guide and afternoon return to Quito with an enlarged "life bird" list (BL).
