For naturalists the country is rich in biodiversity of both flora and fauna and home to elusive animals such as the jaguar, the quetzal, exotic toucans and the manatee. And naturally, do not leave until you experienced the awe of visiting one of the country's most beautiful Maya sites, Tikal. The trill of standing where Maya priest once stood, high above the canopy, is not easily matched!
