The Resort
Tucked away on Roatan's beautiful West Bay Beach, Las Rocas Resort offers
the perfect intimate setting for your tropical get-away vacation.
Laze in the sun under abundant palm trees and let the aqualine waters of
the Caribbean mesmerize you, washing away the worries and cares you leave
behind. Gentle tradewind breezes rock you in your hammock as you sip on
fresh fruit drinks and relax. And when you finished relaxing, there is
plenty to do. Horseback riding, scuba diving and snorkelling, charter
fishing trips, sailing, day hikes, and sea kayaking to name a few. And if
you are not worn out by the end of the day, you can always use our
scheduled boat service to head into West End for dinner and drinks at

The Accommodation
Las Rocas Resort offers one story cabanas and two story cabanas tucked
away on Roatan's West Bay Beach. Each of the cabanas is newly finished
and offer you a fresh, clean stay just moments from Roatan's most
beautiful beach. Each cabana comes with its own private porch and
beautiful ocean views of the sunset. Other amenities include 24
hour hot water, private bath, and ceiling fans and air conditioning in
Capri, Ponza and Procida cabanas. The one story cabanas offer one
queen size bed and one twin sized bed (Ponza and Stromboli), and there
is one cabana (Capri) with a swing and a queen size bed. The two story
cabanas (Nisida, Ischia and Procida) offer two queen size beds and two
double beds, private porches upstairs and downstairs, complete with a
hammock and the same beautiful ocean view.
Activities
Horse back riding:
Riding along West Bay Beach, in front of the beautiful sea, is a
wonderful emotion. Discovering new paths in the middle of the exuberant
tropical vegetation and exploring places like Flowers Bay and Lighthouse
with a guide, is exciting. Do not waste this occasion! Duration: 1/2 a day.
Rafting:
An adventure in Rio Cangrejal's water in La Ceiba. Try this fabulous
sport with professional guides. We take you to Roatan's Airport, from
where you fly to La Chiba, where rafting guides are waiting for you
to start this fabulous funny day. When the adventure is over, they take
you to the airport for your flight back to Roatan. Duration: 1 day
Typical Island Tour:
Las Rocas offers you the possibility of a very particular tour of the
island; a tour to know the real people and the more typical corners of
Roatan. The tour starts at 9.oo a.m. from Las Rocas and you visit:
Pirates Cove, Mangrove Bay, Flowers Bay, Coxen Hole, the iguana reserve,
Punta Gorda, the mangrove channel in Oak Ridge, Palmetto Bay and you return
to Las Rocas at 5.oo p.m.. The guide of Las Rocas takes care of you all
day long. Duration: 1 day
Trekking Tour:
If you like walking, this tour is for you. You can walk from Las Rocas
to Flowers Bay through unknown footpaths, enjoying incredible panoramas.
If you are lucky, you can see the famous Indian's skin, iguanas, plants
and animals in their natural habitat. The guide of Las Rocas explains you
all the stories and legends of the island. Have good time and be careful
with the sun! Duration: 1 day
Classic Island Tour:
Take advantage of the opportunity to know the most famous beauties of the
island. We take you to see the most interesting attractions of Roatan. The
tour leaves at 9.oo a.m. and you visit: the Dolphins' Museum, Coxen Hole,
the wonderful Paya Bay beach, the jam production at Marble Hill, the Port
Royal pine-wood and the birds garden. Duration: 1 day
Kayak Tour:
This tour is perfect to see West Bay and West End coast from the sea.
You don not need particular experience, because an instructor will be
with you. So, enjoy our tour! Duration: 1 day
Night snorkelling:
Swimming during a full-moon night to see the spectacular reef in a
different prospective. Our dive master takes you on a two hour tour,
showing you the submarine beauties of West Bay. Duration: 2 hours
Diving:
Come and dive with us on the largest barrier reef of the Northern
Hemisphere. Let us show you some of the most glorious dive sites in the
Caribbean where you admire various type of underwater animals like sea
turtles, rays, dolphins, groupers, snappers, and much, much more .......
Las Rocas has its own diving centre/school.

Prices are for the bungalows (not per person) based on occupancy.
Prices include accommodation, courtesy breakfast, maid service,
transfers to/from the airport and boat transfers on scheduled times
between West Bay and West End.
Full Board are prices per person per day and include * lodging in a bungalow with air conditioner, minibar, coffee maker, private porch with hammock and ocean view, transfers from/to the airport,
welcome cocktail, continental breakfast served in the bungalow, lunch and dinner "a la carte" , water and ice tea included.
Not included:
Meals other than breakfast for the B&B option, personal expenses, tips, beverages, flight to/from Roatan, the 16% Honduran sales tax.
Dive Center:
The dive center is the first one established on West Bay Beach and is
an authorized SCUBAPRO Diving Center, offering the latest SCUBAPRO dive
gear, as well as a full range of PADI dive courses.
The maximum numbers of divers for each boat dive is 9 divers plus a
qualified experienced guide. Following is a list of PADI dive courses, single dive
and dive packages available. Prices for these are upon request.
