Our first stop is the border-trading town of San
Carlos on Lake Nicaragua from where we continue to Los Guatuzos Reserve,
an extended swamp area with a great biodiversity.
Aboard our private boat we explore the reserve, discovering the lush vegetation and intense wildlife
composed mainly of birds and reptiles.
During our stay at our simple lodging located inside the tropical rainforest, we learn a lot
about the local flora, fauna and social life of the people.
The Itinerary
DAY 1: Managua - San Carlos - Los Guatuzos.
Pick up at your hotel and transfer to the airport to board a domestic flight to San Carlos.
Upon arrival you are transferred to the dock located on the bank of
lake Nicaragua and board our private river boat to Los Guatuzos Lodge sailing on the
beautiful Papaturro River. Once at the rustic lodge you have time to
to enjoy the place and the surroundings tropical forest or participate to
some of the optional activities the lodge offers (not included)

DAY 2: Los Guatuzos.

DAY 3: Los Guatuzos. - San Carlos - Managua
After breakfast, departure to San Carlos on our private boat to San Carlos Airport
to board your return flight to Managua.(B).
