Surfing holidays in Nicaragua

"Nicaragua"

Surf wave - Nicaragua Central America's most pristine and un-commercialised Pacific Coast beaches are located in Nicaragua. The least visited and most attractive beaches on this long unmolested stretch of coastline are found in the southern department of Rivas, around the peaceful fishing village of San Juan del Sur. Situated on a tan beach that lines a clear water, half-moon bay, San Juan del Sur is a great place to swim, hike or relax and a perfect base from which to explore some of Nicaragua's greatest coastal treasures.
Nicaragua is one of surfing's best kept secrets, and it is a good thing, because you have big and consistent waves all to yourself. Our local surf guide takes you in charter boat to all his favourite breaks off the Nicaraguan Pacific Coast. You stay in the tranquil half-moon bay of San Juan del Sur and head both north and south to from this base to Nicaragua's finest breaks like San Martin and the mighty Poypoyo.

Other excursions

The most stylish way to travel along the coast is in sailing yacht, with an open bar, an excellent beach barbecue and swimming and relaxing at an empty beach, a magnificent, broad, light beige sand cove.
More adventurous travel is in motorboat; exploring numerous deserted beaches, like the hidden gem Playa Blanca, a pure white sand jewel, only accessible by boat, or the empty Playa Coco, a marvellous copper sand beach surrounded by lush tropical forest, and many other secret stretches of this precious coastline.
