This first class journey brings you into close contact with the
Natural Wonders of Venezuela, some of them being classified as
"World Heritage Sites" by the Unesco.
You start by travelling into the fabled "Lost World" of Canaima National
Park, discovering landscapes of high tabletop mountains looming over
impenetrable forests, savannahs, splendid lagoons and spectacular waterfalls. Then, you enjoy a stay in a luxurious
Venezuelan ranch (Hato) in Los Llanos, the Central Grasslands, one
of the world's best wildlife observation areas. You finish by a
visit to the Los Roques Archipelago, an island paradise in the middle
of the Caribbean, where you can practice catamaran, snorkelling,
fishing, and scuba diving, or just relax on pristine sandy beaches.
Itinerary
DAY 1: Caracas
Arrival in Caracas and transfer to hotel Puerto Viejo in Catia La Mar, a comfortable beach hotel (5*).
DAY 2: Canaima
Transfer to the airport and flight to Canaima. Welcome and transfer by van and boat
to Waku Camp, a charming first class Lodge
ideally located in front of Canaima Lagoon where we spend the next 3 nights.
This Lodge is rated amongst the best lodging, offering the best service in Canaima
In the afternoon, excursion in boat on Ucaima Lagoon to the nearby waterfalls.

DAY 3: Canaima
Flight over the Angel Falls in DC3 (weather permitting). The Angel Falls are not only the
world's highest waterfalls (979 m), but also form the world's greatest
uninterrupted drop (807 m or 16 times the height of Niagara Falls).
From the largest and most awe-some tabletop mountain of the Gran Sabana,
the Auyantepuy ("mountain of the evil god" in the Pemon language), the water
tumbles down into the jungle of the Canyon del Diablo; An unforgettable experience.

DAY 4: Canaima
Free day in Canaima to enjoy the spectacular scenery of the National Park and swim in the lagoon.
Optional boat excursions to Orchidea Island (165 USD), Yuri Falls (75 USD) or Kavac by plane (USD 195).

DAY 5: Canaima-Caracas
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Caracas. Transfer to hotel El Avila (4*)
in downtown Caracas. The hotel is located in asafe area of the city (B)
DAYS 6-8: Los Llanos
Drive in private vehicle from Caracas to Hato Pinero (4 to 5 hours), a typical Venezuelan ranch, and one
of the world's largest wildlife reserves.
Located in the state of Cojedes at the edge of the central plains, it covers
wet-lands as well as plateau and gallery forest on the rolling hills,
surrounded by four rivers, with an incredible divers wildlife
that shows almost no fear for the human observers.
Amongst them are over 340 species of birds,
nearly 50 mammal species, over 40 species of reptiles
and over 100 species of amphibians and fish.
The accommodation is in simple but comfortable and spotless double
rooms, each with its own bathroom.
Each stay includes two excursions per day in specially converted
four-wheel drives, that provide an ideal viewing platform to appreciate the
natural attractions. Depending the season, you can journey by boat along the many
canos, or streams, that cross the savannah or explore the hato on horseback.
Bilingual guides accompany you to ensure you get the most from this unique
experience.
Drive back to hotel El Avila in Caracas in the afternoon of day 8. Depending on available flight,
we may flight directly to Los Roques

DAYS 9-11 : Los Roques
Transfer to the airport and flight to Los Roques,
an island paradise in the middle of the Caribbean,
176 km/110 miles north from Caracas. Cristobal Columbus discovered the
islands in the late 15th century and described it as "a true paradise on earth". It consists of about 50 islands and 300 submerged sand banks. Silky
sand, crystalline water, permanently blue sky (no rain here) and a perfect
location far from destructive storms, are just a few lovely characteristics
of the place. This is one of the world's largest marine reserves, and the
world's third largest coral reef.
You are lodged in an ancient fisherman house, luxuriously refurbished. Daily
excursions in boat or catamaran within the Archipelago. Scuba diving, fishing and
wind surfing in option.
Flight back to Caracas day 11, and transfer to hotel Puerto Viejo.

DAY 12: Caracas
Transfer to the airport for your flight back home, or continuation of your holiday in Venezuela.(B).
