Los Roques Archipelago is one of the most remote places of the Caribbean Sea, 176 km / 110 miles north of Caracas. Christopher Columbus discovered the islands in the late 15th century and described it as "a true paradise on earth". It consists of about 50 islands and 300 emerged sandbanks. Silky sand, crystalline water, permanently blue sky (no rain here) and a perfect location far from destructive storms, are just a few lovely characteristics of the place. This is one of the world's largest marine reserves, the third largest coral reef of the world and a true beach paradise.

Los Roques is a National Park where environmental protection is top priority. It is forbidden to build high-rise hotels on the island. You stay in a local guesthouse on Gran Roques, the only island with permanent human settlements. The guesthouse is a picturesque old fisherman house refurbished rather luxuriously. Each day boat excursions bring you around the archipelago and you discover the incredible nature and its wonderful beaches. Other aquatic activities such as snorkelling, sailing, windsurfing are also available, but if you want to dive, we advise you to book with us now.

Prices concern lodging in s standart posada in the village not by the beach, all meals and daily excursions. First class and/or beach front posadas available upon request.
The posadas we mainly work with are : La Cigala, Caracol, Malibu, Natura Viva, Mediterraneo, Gotera, Quiga, La Gaviota, Caballito de mar, La Movida, Piano y Papaya, Bequeve, Guaripete, La Rosaleda

If you do not need the full board option or the excursions, contact us, you may have a discount depending on the posadas. Be just aware that meals are awfully expensive in Los Roques. Full board option are really worth the price.
